Is it suppose to feel like this? When you like some one is it suppose to feel like this? Am I suppose to hate him one minute and then be content with my feelings the next? Am I suppose to be afraid of what the future has to hold? Should I be this confused? Days pass slowly, but nights even slower. Memories are all I have at the moment; replayed over and over in my mind...in my heart....I want to meet again, but I fear the answer I seek. I wish the cold could numb my soul. Do I dare to love, or do I retreat within myself and allow the ice to thicken? I am more afraid now than I have ever been.

The raven and the wolf are kindred spirits bound by ties long ago forged. Where the raven flies, the wolf shall follow: the moon will light their way, the night will blanket them in mystery, the water shall be their path. But beware, raven: the wolf is not a spirit to be taken lightly. Powerful, wise, and stoic- one bite will sever your wings, and flight will flee you. What is this feeling called? It is empty, but I'm not sad. It is there, but it's not heavy. Am I numb? The waters are not turbulent anymore but they still move; I merely float right along. Chunks of the iceburg melt, but it is large and cold: Summer itself could not erode the icy exterior. But the warm waters of spring invade the freezing ocean, and little by litte, the iceburg forms a new shape. What is frozen within it's heart?

Why does my chest feel heavy? I hate and want at the same time. Confusion and the unknown throw me into fits of love and hate; I want, yet I hesitate. Are the feelings mutual? Does he know what I am willing to do for him? If death visited me now, I would not object; these feelings are new. They are unknown. I don't know how to cope. He is a cool stream, making its way through the warm valleys. I am an iceberg, creeping along in freezing waters. If I allow myself to erode, what rises from the depths? I am afraid... I am afraid...

You feel like you're floating on air; the world is yours. The moon shines, the stars fall, the night envelopes you in a blanket of black while the water lulls you to sleep. While in his arms you feel safe and content. But it doesn't last. He's gone, and you feel unsure. The world seems dull again and the only time you are very stable is alone amidst the darkness. The stars dull. The moon dulls. The water is stagnant. Why does your body feel heavy? Why does your chest hurt? Were you not happy? Did his smile not warm your soul? You're uncertain. You're scared. This is new. The feelings, the words: all new. The wolf is shaken and alert. Runn
